What is Location Monetisation?
Many types of businesses run an estate of locations like grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, parking lots, shops, and gyms. These spots get daily visitors. Other companies are willing to pay these location owners to put their products at these locations, I call that Location Monetisation.
How do you know about Location Monetisation?
I was CEO and SVP of two major UK parcel locker networks. I built teams and partnerships to launch national locker networks. I understand what parcel locker networks need and how to help estate owners create a Location Monetisation program.
How many locations do I need to start a programme?
You could start a program with one location but it would not make much of an impact. I suggest that companies with 120 or more locations seriously think about the opportunity
Does it take any capital investment from my company?
No. The parcel locker companies pay for and manage the lockers and upkeep. The same with Electric Vehicle Charge Point networks. You work with me at the start to set up the deal, then simply get regular payments.
How much Revenue or Profit can we generate?
For the minimum sized estate portfolio of 120 locations, a company should generate between £150,000 - £200,000 per year of profit. For companies with hundreds of locations, the profit increases very quickly. Let’s have a consultation and I can make a custom quote on the revenue opportunity for your company.
Will me or my team be required to manage the programme?
It is our job to represent your estate portfolio to the various locker and EV charge point networks. We will negotiate the terms and manage the deployment. We need someone on your team to work with but we are the day-to-day contact for the networks. In terms of store staff, they will not be responsible for the any aspect of the locker program. Carriers and customers have specific customer service numbers to call should they need help with their parcels or charging sessions.
